Profile
About me
Born into a Tunisian and Japanese household, my artistic journey is deeply informed by the convergence of Arab, North African, and Asian influences, alongside a constant engagement with European and Western conceptions in contemporary art.
Deeply inspired by the works of Marina Abramović, Do Ho Suh, Tatiana Trouvé, Chiaru Shiota, Sarah Sze and many others, my practice often interrogates the boundaries of what a "medium of expression" truly means.
Inviting reflection on the boundaries between object-hood and subject-hood, I often explore organic materials and in situ compositions to animate the artwork as a living entity, endowed with its own vitality, mortality, and temporality.
